ADDED BENEFITS:

 

  • Practice rounds can be played after 1pm on 6/14 and 6/15 for $39
  • Each player will be presented with a bounce back coupon for $39, times and restrictions will apply

 

Format:

 

Two-person modified best ball (shamble).

*Each player hits a tee-shot, the team selects the best tee-shot and each player plays their own ball from that point until it is holed.

The lower of the two scores is the team score for the hole.

 

2 Divisions Gross and Net

 

Teams will not be required to declare which of the two divisions they would like to compete in upon registration.

 

Tournament Handicap:

 

Each team participant must provide a verifiable handicap, if applicable.

The Handicap Index will be used to calculate the course handicap where 50% will be used for players to determine the lowest Net score.

 

 

Additional Information

 

  • Teams can be comprised of two men, two women, or one man/one woman
  • Teams may enter multiple Regional Qualifier events to try to qualify for the Finals
  • Men will play approximate yardage of 6600 yards
  • Women will play approximate yardage of 5200 yards
  • Please note that the Troon Challenge is for amateurs only. Active PGA members or other golf professionals are not eligible to play

 

The lowest Gross and Net scores of the entire field at all regional events will qualify for the 2018 Troon Challenge National Finals!

 

2018 Troon Challenge National Finals - December 7-9

 

  • Friday Night Welcome Reception at Troon North Golf Club
  • 36-Holes contested over two days at Troon North Golf Club (Saturday - Pinnacle Course / Sunday - Monument Course)
  • Each player receives $100 Callaway Shopping Experience, Callaway Golf Balls, Official AHEAD Troon Challenge Finals Hat, ShipSticks Special Offer, and a chance to win other great prizes!
  • An additional fee per team will be required to participate in the finals. Qualifiers will need to secure their own transportation and accommodations
